(21 October 2010, Hong Kong) The inaugural ChildMind Conference & Showcase 2010 (“ChildMind Conference”) will be held on 17-18 December 2010 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Organized by the Hong Kong Child Intelligence Development Association (HKCIDA), the Conference has been well-received by parents, teachers and other professionals in the education industry. They acknowledged the efforts and role played by HKCIDA in promoting child’s intellectual development.

As the first event of its kind in Hong Kong to serve children, parents, schools and child care centres, ChildMind Conference offers useful information addressing the needs of early childhood development in different stages. Mr. Leung is an author and highly-respected leader in the field of education.  He is currently Principal at WKFEW Wong Cho Bau School, on the Standing Committee of the Hong Kong Teachers’ Center, the School Director of CECES Organized Aetna Pre-school, a member of the Islands District Council, a Chairman of Community Affairs, a member of the Culture and Recreation Committee, and the former Principal of GT School.  Mr. Leung holds a Master of Education (M.Ed.) from the University of Hong Kong and is committed to excellence in Primary Education.

The Hong Kong Child Intelligence Development Association (HKCIDA), established in 2009, is comprised of a group of educational advocates who are dedicated to promoting greater understanding of the needs of a child at different stages of their growth and progress.
